I’ve owned many of these lots for more than 15 years. There is a comforting assurance that comes from knowing that no matter what happens, I’ll have a piece of land that I can drop a tent or trailer on and live peacefully on my own land. I live a life of contentment and I’ve learned to get by with very little. I own all of this land debt free, and because I do not have to carry large amounts of debt, I do not have to pay interest on the things I own.
What does this mean for you? It means a couple of things. One, I’m not going to try to get premium dollar for my lots. I’m going to sell them at a reasonable profit. I’m not looking to make a ton on every deal. Home runs are nice, but I believe that slow and steady plotting it a wiser choice. So, when you purchase my lots you are going to get a low price that leaves me enough profit to pay Uncle Sam his 35% and allow me to continue offering low prices and making land ownership a reality for others. Two, it means that I can afford to collect payments over the next 12-36 months so that you can make small payments that will be easier to budget.
I will finance anyone that is willing to make a commitment and a promise that they will work hard to pay off the land as quickly as they are able to do so.
